A Ombre Orange Cocktail That Tastes as Good as it Looks
Another thirsty Thursday is upon us! I wanted to get the weekend started a tad bit early, so you know what that means: I am sipping pretty over here and you bet this ombre orange cocktail tastes as good as it looks! I have been super into citrus and mint leaves lately. So, I combined these two items plus more to create this gorgeous beverage that will have me sipping pretty all day long.
It is so bubbly and refreshing, it really hits the spot!
INGREDIENTS, SERVES 1 COCKTAIL IN A 22 OZ. CUP:
3 shots, gin of your choice
3 clementines, skin peeled and mini wedges pulled apart
2 TBSP fresh mint leaves + a few extra for garnish
1 TBSP lemon juice
In a shaker, muddle: gin, mint leaves, clementines and lemon juice.
In your cup, fill with ice cubes about half way. Pour infused gin into the cup. ** NOTE: it will fill the cup about half way. Be sure to use a strainer so the excess muddled mint leaves and clementines do not go into your cup. **
Top with Topo Chico to create the ombre effect and garnish with additional mint leaves.
Sit back and sip pretty. CHEERS!
