  • 1/4 Cup bread crumbs, plain or seasoned
  • 2 Eggs

  • Alfalfa Sprouts (spring salad mix) marinated in 1/2 TBSP olive oil, 1 TBSP red wine vinegar, 2-3 sprinkles of salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Yellow Mustard (for the bottom of the slider buns)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the patties. Mince the onion and finely chop the parsley. In a large bowl place the ground turkey, minced garlic, bread crumbs, eggs, red onion, curly parsley, worcestershire sauce (If using), onion salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients together with your hands.
  2. Once mixed well, use a 1/4 cup to scoop out some of the mixture and use your hands to form them into mini patties. Place on a baking sheet that is sprayed with non-stick spray. Once you are finished set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the alfalfa sprouts, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Once mixed, place in the fridge to cool until ready to construct sliders.
  4. Cut your tomatoes and place them on a plate. Place them in the fridge to cool until ready to construct the sliders.
  5. Heat your grill to 300 degrees. Place the patties on the grill for 7-10 minutes on each side or until the patties are no longer pink.
  6. Towards the end of the slider cooking process, add the mini buns to the grill and toast for 3-5 minutes.
  7. When patties are fully cooked and buns are nice and toasty, remove from the grill and bring inside to construct.

Assembling the Sliders:

  1. Remove your chilled sliced tomatoes and marinated alfalfa sprouts from the fridge.
  2. Take the bottom half of the bun and spread yellow mustard out evenly.
  3. Take one slice of your tomato and place it on top of the mustard.
  4. Place the cooked turkey patty and place ontop of the tomato.
  5. Take a few pinches of your marinated alfalfa sprouts and place them on top of the patty.
  6. Take your top bun and place it on top of the sprouts.
  7. To secure and garnish, use a toothpick of your choice and skewer one pickle and place in the the middle of the bun and push down.
  8. Place on serving vessel of choice and serve immediately.
  9. ENJOY!
