Double Chocolate Crinkle Brownie Bites

Now, speaking of sharing, you will definitely want to bake a batch of these soft, decadent, chewy mini delights to share with your loved ones. They are so adorable and delicious. And If I am being honest, it might take a little self control with these because these are that type of treat where you can’t just have one.

Bite sized mini brownies that are covered in powdered sugar!? Sign me up, immediately. These bite sized delights will outshine any dessert during the holidays no ifs ands or buts.

Why, you ask? How, you ask? I will be happy to tell you!

To start, the great thing about these are that they are adorable and mini, so you can have more than one without the guilt. Second, they contain double the chocolate. “There is too much chocolate”, said no one ever. The batter is rich and fudgy, then on top of that you add in mini chocolate chips for double the chocolate-y goodness in each bite. Last but not least, these only takes a short 10 minutes to bake! In the blink of an eye, these get baked to Soft chewy perfection. From the moment you take them out of you warm oven, they will be so irresistible. You won’t want to wait!

Making these has never been easier. You mix the dry ingredients, then you mix the wet ingredients, after you mix both together. Roll them into little bite sized balls, toss them in powdered sugar to coat, bake for 10 minutes and BAM! Just like that, you’re done. This is a fun kitchen activity for kids and adults. Eating them won’t be the only thing they love, they will love making them too!

If you are reading this, I am sure you will be the one baking these. With that being said, try to contain yourself and not eat all of these when they are hot and right out of the oven, because once you start you won’t be able to stop. And I can guarantee that when your loved ones gets their hands on them, one will turn into two and two will turn into three and before they know it they will have had five in one sitting! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

  • 1/2 Cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 and 1/2 TSP baking powder
  • 1/4 TSP pink Himalayan salt

  • 1 TSP vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 Cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 Cup powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together. In a bowl, sift 2 cups all purpose flour, followed by sifting your 1/2 cup cocoa powder, add 1/4 TSP salt and 1 and 1/2 TSP baking powder. Whisk together until all is mixed well. Set aside.
  3. In your kitchenaid mixer bowl, add 1/2 cup white sugar, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup melted butter. Secure your mixing bowl and lock your mixer. Turn speed on low to mix well until all three are blended and smooth.
  4. Stop the mixer, add your 2 eggs and 1 TSP vanilla extract. Secure the mixer again and turn speed on low again to mix well. Once mixed well and smooth, turn mixer off.
  5. Add your prepared dry ingredients from your first bowl and your 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips to the mixed wet ingredients in your mixer. Lock your mixer once again and turn the speed on low to mix we ingredients, dry ingredients and mini chocolate chips together.
  6. Once everything is mixed and it becomes a dough like consistency, turn the mixer off. Using a spatula, push the dough into the mixing bowl and remove from the mixer.
  7. Place 1/2 cup powdered sugar into a bowl and set aside.
  8. Using a cookie scoop or 1 TBSP spoon, scoop out the dough. Using your hands, roll the dough into a ball, then toss in your powdered sugar bowl to coat in the powdered sugar. When done, place on your prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process until you fit 12 brownie bites onto your sheet.
  9. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat once 10 minutes are up and transfer to a cooling rack immediately. Let cool for 10 minutes. Serve right away or store in an air tight container.
